Making Sense of Cents

Instead of creating a social welfare system that puts our taxes into pockets with holes in them, why not contribute to the working poor?

By supplying a worker with a subsidy sufficient to support his/her family unit, as it is, at the end of the Census, you would be empowering them to live with dignity, and voluntarily uplift their community.  Then, perhaps, the working poor would take pride in their work, and be more productive.

Companies who cannot afford to pay high wages, could employ more workers, and boost their production levels.

Surely happy families, makes for happy communities, happy businesses and a happier economy.  There would be less downtime due to sickness, striking, depression, etc.

What do you think about that?  Does this make sense of cents?

Blessings
